Job Descriptions

l  The project manager needs to take full ownership of the projects since day one the project is created until it is transferred to mass production.

l  Be part of the initial market development phase, work closely with Business Development (BD) team.

l  According to customer’s requirements, provide input to BD from customer technical perspective, and knowledge of factory capability, capacity, etc.

l  Communicate with BD, Central technical development center, marketing engineer to ensure the optimal solution for all in the project.

l  Communicate with planning team on project scale and scope to make sure a longer-term resources planning could be pipe-lined properly.

l  Coordinate with internal purchasing & planning team to ensure OTD to customer.

l  Coordinate with QC team to ensure samples quality and documents to customer.

l  Coordinate with BG PE team to ensure products can be transferred to MP smoothly.

l  Lead the weekly project review meeting with cross function team to actively track the project status and make sure the closure of the action items.

l  Provide risk control list/plan/report to BD/ customer interface team at different program stage.

l  Will have to travel to U.S or Europe for customer visit in regular basis.

To successfully take on this role, the following qualifications should be met.

l  7~10 years experience in working with projects in home appliance or telecommunication industry segment.

l  An education as a mechanical engineer, business or similar

l  5+ years’ experience in working in an international environment.

l  The ability to work up against a time schedule, where deadlines must be expected and deliver successful projects.

l  Fluent in English and Chinese in writing and speaking.

l  Again, need to be willing to travel in regular basis.
