We are looking for a dynamic quality professional to join our team in Shenzhen, China. If you are searching for a company where you can make a difference, we’re looking for you. In this role, you will be the owner responsible for all supplier/contract manufacturing (CM) quality related activities to promote the growth of the performance solution division business through continuous improvement efforts.

  

Responsibilities:

  

• Support inputs of quality criteria and qualification requirements in the supplier selection and qualification process, while participating new supplier/CM qualification and evaluation.

• Conduct supplier/CM audit planning and carry out quality system & process audit and assessment to drive effective improvement actions.

• Support requirements definition to ensure the requirements are accurate, unambiguous, verifiable, and establish and lead the process to ensure customer requirements are flow down to suppliers.

• Issue corrective action requests to suppliers and CMs and drive suppliers to identify and address true root cause.

• Lead or support validation activities related to ramp up of new contract manufacturers and/or new products produced by CMs.

• Support to develop, monitor and report key process indicators (KPI’s) to ensure it is meeting quality objects and strategic planning goals.

• Develop and implement incoming sampling, test, and inspection plans

• Establish process and coordinate Management of Changes approval and /or notification process.

• Develop and implement tools and processes to ensure supplier starting new work are prepared and have robust plans to deliver first time quality.

• Support the development of quality agreements,

• Facilitate risk assessments and manage actions to mitigate quality risks.

                      

• Support customer audits at supplier/CM.

• Waterline expert on quality issues.

    

  

Qualifications:

  

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Material, Quality Engineering or other technical discipline.

  

• 5+ years’ experience in a supplier quality role in a multinational organization or global cross functional teams,

• Experience managing quality in an outsource / contract manufacturing environment.

    

• Ability to articulate, defend and negotiate quality expectations with CM/Suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of quality and problem solving tools such as MSA, FEMA, SPC, 5 Why, 8D, Poke yoke, Pareto analysis, cause and affect analysis etc.

  

• Proven ability to build a strong collaborative working relationship cross-functionally (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, Product Management, and Suppliers)

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects.

• Demonstrated self-motivation, independent & hands-on to get things done.

      

• Assertiveness and excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).

  

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience working with the ISO9001 quality standard.
