Position Objective/Mission:
Provide coordination & monitor support towards the assigned product line(s) from the new product development to the shipment stages, to ensure products are industrialized (developed & commercialized) in accordance with design and specification requirements and ensure on time and reliable delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Facilitate & monitor the industrialization process & progress as according to the agreed schedule.
2) Monitor to ensure factories production & quality system (e.g. procedure, equipment, method, documentation) compliance to Brands quality requirements.
3) Work closely with Brands, Quality and PPP teams to ensure factories production and delivery as per scheduled & meeting required quality.
Essential Duties:
1) Validate the industrialization schedule and production file with development team.
2) Participate in the selection of material, components and processes in order to meet the quality level with both production effectiveness and cost efficiency factors considered.
3) Organize & monitor the commercialization of every component (e.g. mold/pattern grading) with respect to the schedule, quality processes, and costing aspects.
4) Monitor & ensure the standards & production requirements for the manufacturing & engineering of production products are adhered to with regards quality & time frames,Confirm the technical execution against specification, blue print and/or gauges.
5) Provide suggestion for improvement (or problem solving) in technical procedure or equipment selection & set up in pursuing for:
(i) secure consistency of production quality & lead time,
(ii) cost minimize and/or
(iii) simplify the production process.
6) Coordinate relevant lab test for the materials, components or sample in different stage and send the test reports to the concerned parties.
7) Ensure testing methods applied by vendors is in consistency & compliance to Brands’ requirement.
8) Help new vendors to establish the detailed process book indicating critical operations and quality steps.
9) Provide information &/or training to both internal & suppliers’ quality teams as well as any other concerned parties to ensure Amer Sports quality requirement for specific and individual products is clearly communicated and understood;
10) Update sample and goods production status to the concerned parties e.g. Brand(s), PPP and Quality teams;
11) Organize follow up meeting(s) regarding quality and delays, and provide reports on regular basis to factories and the concerned parties of Brand(s) and other internal counterparts.
Qualifications and Skills:
1) College or University degree in relevant subjects e.g Tooling, poly material, etc;
2) At least 2+ years progressive experience in production. Formal training & solid experience in related industry is preferred;
