Job Description of Logistics Clerk

Reporting to Logistics Supervisor


1. Handle daily shipment booking with forwarder according to information given by production dept;
2. Release shipment booking to vendor/warehouse before cargoe ready date;
3. Submit documents for customs dept to apply export customs declaration if required;
4. Arrange trucks to pick up empty container and deliver container after loading;
5. Submit documents to forwarder after delivery of container;
6. Apply payment on local port charges with accounts dept once receiving invoice from forwarder;
7. Send full set of document to customer or bank for payment collection;
8. Update weekly shipment report, arrival notice and declare trade-link if required;
9. Keep proper filing record on all shipment.
