Requirement:

- 5-7 years' experience
- college education
- reasonable aptitude with spoken and written English (full training on ways of working, fault classification etc. would be given by FF UK)
Process of work would probably be similar to the following:
· CFS booking sheet reviewed
· Random boxes chosen from the incoming consignments
· Goods delivered to CFS (lead carton containing sealed sample)
· Goods checked
· If passed - goods released for consolidation
· If rejected - email and photos to the UK tech - discussion had to confirm next steps:
1) Commercially approve
2) Inspect more goods then ascertain if pass or fail
3) Reject stock
· UK technologist informs the supplier of the findings and action taken
· UK technologist either accepts the stock after discussion or requests the supplier to pick up the cargo copying supply chain & merchandising & Allport
· The local platform QC would not communicate with the supplier directly nor have any direct contact to keep the inspections very objective
· The supplier would collect goods or agreed for stock to be reworked by Allport
· When goods ready for re-delivery - decision made to sea or air based on time.
