Position: System Analyst

Division/Department: Production & Logistics/PTC

Location: Shanghai

Main goals and objectives:

？ Develop, revise, represent and work out details of planning concepts or projects including development of appropriate design specifications or general requirements for the planning departments. Execute planning of manufacturing and/or material processes, facilities and methods. Further develop production techniques and procedures with preparation of appropriate decision-making models and included weighted alternatives. Analyze and evaluate alternative solutions and application of economic principles as well as enforcement of appropriate measures to ensure the sustainability and prosperity of Volkswagen production facilities.

Your Responsibilities:

？ Developing and revising production and/or operational and/or production and/or work organization and/or tasks maintaining operational readiness to ensure the commissioning of the vehicle electronics and vehicle commissioning systems, such as e.g.:

o Development and maintenance of application programs (e.g.: in C, C#, Java, SidisPro, ProdisOffice, Prodis Automation) for the automated commissioning of vehicles in the various production sections (IBN to ZP6) and systems (ALS-FAS / role testing)

o Programming of application programs for system control on the basis of programming specifications for vehicle technology and system technology (e.g.: ASAM-GDI, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, GinaTool, filling process brake, ALS-FAS, roll testing)

o Development and maintenance of higher-level control programs (e.g.: in C, C#, Java, SidisPro, ProdisOffice, Prodis Automation) for networking the various application programs and different systems (e.g.: coupling to Conclusion, FIS-eQS; partial scope tests) on the basis of programming specifications specific expertise in the areas of vehicle electronics and networked IT systems (e.g.: vehicle networking architecture, data transfer protocols such as KWP2000, UDS, TP2.0, etc.), editing and maintenance of the data transfer protocols: Vehicle networking architecture, data transmission protocols such as KWP2000, UDS, TP2.0 etc., interface specifications

o Analysis of diagnostic records at keyword and transport protocol level (e.g.: KWP2000, UDS, TP2.0 etc.) and implementation of suitable measures for error elimination

o Analysis of system control and system driver software (e.g.: TCP/IP, UDP/IP, GinaTool etc.) for filling systems, roller test benches, axle setting benches, headlamp setting benches and driver assistance setting benches and implementation of suitable measures for fault elimination

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

？ Bachelor Degree in engineering in one of the following subjects: mechanics, electrics, computer science, industrial engineer or logistics.

Personal skills:

？ Structured work, process thinking, poise and strong communication skills are necessary. Flexible, mobile, engaged with high analytical skills.

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

？ Good language skills in English and/or German. According to the company’s business requirements the readiness for business trips and temporary displacements mainly in China and occasionally abroad is a premise
