The primary role of the logisticsspecialist is to be responsible for logistics flow from its origin to thedestination and to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the shippingprocess with regard to the objectives for On-time Delivery, Cost andFlexibility.

Responsibilities

• Logistics operation focus on import;
• Liaison with the Freight Forwarders to schedule collections, deliveries, expedite, tracking and tracing of the inbound shipments to ensure on time delivery to production;
• Handle shipment delay, loss, damage, claim and any other exceptional cases during inbound logistics process;
• Closely work with Planning team to well communicate exceptional cases and minimize impact on production schedule;
• Manage LSP daily operations, evaluate LSP performance and address/ escalate performance issues;
• Submit monthly logistics report, agents' invoice verification & collection, shipment data analysis;
• Initiate or participate in projects or tasks to solve problems/ support business development/ drive continuous improvement in process/ cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree, preferably in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management/ International Trade or its equivalent
• Minimum 3 years working experience in inbound logistics / import, preferably with experience at foreign manufacturer
• Good understanding in international transportation and international trade, familiar with related customs/ trade compliance requirements
• Very good English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experienced in working with multiple functions across supply chain e.g. Planning, Warehouse, Customs Compliance, LSP etc.
