General Summary:

New Product Introductions are priori one; this engineering position requires an agile and adaptive individual that works well with cross-discipline stakeholders, communicates well, results driven and understands the value of time and project execution.

In addition, this individual will provide technical support services for LOUD CMs (Contract Manufacturers) in China, including planning, developing, documenting and implementing manufacturing test programs and support at LOUD CMs. This individual may be also required to provide Procurement team and R&D team with component level evaluations for new product development and sustaining product support.

This position is located in Shenzhen, Guangdong, PRC.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

® At the beginning of product design, assess the feasibility of product according to PDM's design. Test a variety of similar audio products. Can know which one is good.

® Based on product design principle, to find the defects and quality risk existed in product.

® For each version sample, verify the sample whether it conforms to PRD requirement and industrial standard according to design specification items in PRD.

® Very familiar with all kinds of audio products, Can set up specific audio system.

® Develop detailed test plans for independent project.

® Perform Test coverage analysis basing on the test plan.

® Coordinate with R&D, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering to design effective / efficient test procedures and test fixtures for the coming manufacture of LOUD products.

® Coordinate with contracted Test Engineering resources for the development of production on-line fixture hardware and procedures.

® Develop test scripts / programs for production on-line automatic testing associated with the fixture hardware.

® Support the introduction of using the new-developed test scripts, procedures and equipment to CMs.

® Troubleshoot and analyze problems that arise during the test process.

® Audit and maintain existing test equipment and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency.

® Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods and strategies.

® Perform other possible duties as assigned, like FG inspection, FG rework, etc.

Specific Job Skills:

 

® Electronic Design skill: Be familiar with electronic product design and manufacturing process. Know digital and analog circuit well. Can validate product quality based on data, function and reliability.

® Can use audio Equipment such as Audio Precision's System One & Two, Oscilloscope, audio analyzer（VP-7732）Power meter, temperature tester, high voltage tester, etc.

® Software Programming skill: Be good at Visual Basic language or C language.

® Good project planning and executing capability against time line with minimal supervision.

® Excellent Teamwork with Operations, Engineering, Program management and CM personnel.

® Thorough Documentation skills and documentation system understanding.

® Understand Mechanical Design and Electronic Design.

® Understand a certain amount of acoustic knowledge.

Education and/or Experience:

® College degree or equivalent experience.

® At least 5 years’ experience as a Test Engineer for manufacturing or DQE of Audio Industry.

® At least 3 years’ analog and digital design experience of test engineering aspect.

® Excellent reading and written English skill and oral English skill.

® Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support NPI (new product introduction), mass production, etc.

Preferred

® Experienced in Design Quality Evaluation.

® Experienced in building specific audio system.

® Can use Equipment such as Audio Precision's System One & Two, Oscilloscope, audio analyzer（VP-7732）Power meter, temperature tester, high voltage tester, etc.

® Be familiar with electronic product design. Know digital and analog circuit well. Can validate product quality based on data, function and reliability.

® Experienced in Audio Manufacturing Test. Preferred in developing scripts for CLIO acoustic test apparatus or other auto test script.

® Experience with computer language design, such as VB or C/C+.

® Fluency in Mandarin Chinese.

Frequent domestic travel may be required sometimes.
