Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced professional for our Asia Marketing Communication Head. The Regional Marcom Manager APAC is a key role that will drive ROI-focused marketing activities in the APAC region (China, South East Asia, Japan, Korea) in support of growth objectives and will be responsible for execution of a clearly-defined regional Marcom strategy. The primary goals in this position are to drive lead generation and lead nurturing efforts, grow existing customers into brand advocates and define and lead execution of a clearly-defined Marcom strategy with focus on digital channels that will increase (online) brand awareness.
The responsibilities of the position include the following:
1 Lead regional ELP Marcom team, with team members located in key APAC regions (China, SGP). Select and lead agencies and suppliers
2 Develop annual marketing communication plan and budget and drill it down into communication strategies and their execution with quick and effective actions.
3 Collaborate closely with Global Marcom and regional APAC leadership and, external partners and product marketing to supply powerful Marcom initiatives and tools that support short and long-term business needs.
4 Oversee the creation, implementation and evaluation of campaigns across all communication channels, focusing on digital marketing, lead generation and lead nurturing.
5 Responsibilities also include promotional materials, (digital) advertisements, PR work, organization of regional tradeshows as well as usage of digital sales tools such as e-newsletters, social media activities and the maintenance of the regional website.
6 Oversee the implementation of Pentair corporate design guidelines and hence a consistent look & feel within the APAC region
7 Ensure best practice sharing and implementation of consistent processes within the APAC region.
8 Manage and monitor the regional ELP Marcom budget for the APAC region.
9 May be required to perform additional duties as assigned
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
True Marcom expert with experience in and passion for the creation and execution of digital campaigns
5+ years marketing experience in B2B environments, ideally working experience in more than one Asian country
Proven track record of conducting lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns
Knowledge and experience in sales and marketing (funnel) processes
Experienced in working in international environments and with different cultures
Very well familiar with digital communication tools (website, social media, e-mailing campaigns…)
Fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory, other Asian languages a plus.
Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge in lead generation tactics and integration with customer relationship management (CRM) tool
Proficient skill in word processing and spreadsheet software, preferably Microsoft products
Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to get the point across clearly and concisely and present technical information in easily understood terms
Leadership experience would be a plus
Strong Project Management skills to:
Develop realistic plans, action steps, and timetables for projects and assignments
Coordinate work with other groups (other depts. and agencies/contractors, peers)
Handle multiple demands and competing priorities
Keep others up to date with information
Ability to collaborate with a number of different people and departments
Ability to stay current on new technologies and emerging trends in the digital space
Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal customer and others across the organization
Ability to work energetically, positively and tenaciously with minimal supervision
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
