Position Description:
Foundry operations manager is the multi-functional position, include but not limited as below statement:
1. Act as site manager to overall handle and support on site activities.
2. Technical support between ON Semi’s BU’s and manufacturing sites.
3. New Products introduction.
4. Cost Reduction program.
5. Yield monitor and yield enhancement.
6. Ensure good coordination of priorities with other departments like Capacity Planning, Business units, Customer service, Quality and Sourcing.
7. Communication with foundry for Capacity Utilization outlook and ensure the capacity support.
8. Monitor and update Foundry KPI (weekly & monthly) and Quarterly Foundry Rating Scorecard.
9. Manage and drive improvement of WIP until shipment is delivered.
10. Manage quality incidence to ensure timely responses and resolution by the suppliers.
Position Requirements:
1. BS/BA semiconductor/micro-electronics related field graduate.
2. at the least above 5 years’ Wafer fab PIE/TD/YE/Device experience.
3. Good foundry process integration experience and inline/WAT/Yield analysis skills.
4. Bipolar/Diode/MOSFET/CMOS acknowledge is preferred.
5. Good understanding and communication skill; reasonable English communication with verbal and written are must.
6. Good problem-solving logic and skills.
7. Multi-tasking ability.
8. Ability to interface with management, engineering, planning and factory representatives, both internal and external, on all issues relating to the site.
9. Adept in all related computer software applications and good presentation skill.
10. Ability to work well independently and team environment as well.
