Description:

BQ is recruiting a Project Manager belonging to the Product Development Department, make full

responsibility for controlling the manufacturing process of our products, step-by- step from the early

development stages to Mass Production and especially driving the production ramp-up.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, focus on manufacturing tasks.

- Responsible of the Production Ramp-up: Planning, Preparation and active follow-up of the

production status from the “start of production”. Includes the copy tooling of management for

housing and other key components.

- Supply chain control, including technical audits to the key component suppliers, as well as key

component production plan and follow up.

- Coordinate internal resources of Product Development Team (HW, ME, SW, QA), Production

department and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project on time, and drive any

blocker issue if applies.

- Full control of the manufacturing processes, especially for the key components of the products

and supervise them on supplier facilities.

- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

- Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule, using appropriate verification

techniques.

- Report and escalate to management as needed

Background Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or higher, major in Telecommunications or Industrial.

- Proven +3 years working experience in project management or in consumer electronics

projects, especially in mobile industry.

- Technical knowledge in Smartphone and Tablet key components will be appreciated.

- Production knowledge will be appreciated.

- Fluent oral and written English is a must

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

- Ability of learning and adapting quickly in situations requiring technical acumen and

problem solving with new technology
