Manufacturing Project Manager

Description:

BQ is recruiting a Sourcing Engineer belonging to the Manufacturing Department, to make full responsibility for controlling the suppliers of our products, step-by-step from the early development stages to all the Mass Production shipments, as well as Aftersales main component deliveries.

Responsibilities:

- BQ corporate project Sourcing Management
- BQ Supplier Management, including new supplier introduction, supplier audits and supplier profile and information management.
- Production Supply Chain Management and follow up the production plan, paying special attention to mobile devices major component shipments (battery, PCB, display, camera, etc), as well as Aftersales key deliveries.
- Risk management to minimize project risks.
- Perfect coordination with BQ PM and technical teams (Hardware, Mechanical, Quality, etc), for schedule control and technical issues resolution, to warranty the delivery on time and with the expected quality.

Background Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or higher, major in Engineering
- Proven +3 years working experience in project management, sourcing management, supply change management as well as in consumer electronics projects, especially in mobile industry.
- Love for technology. Technical knowledge in Smartphone and Tablet key components will be appreciated.
- Production and supply chain knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability of learning and adapting quickly in situations requiring technical acumen and problem solving with new technology
- Honest and integrity, responsibility, interpersonal skills, team-work player
