职位描述：
Skip Hop is a global brand recognizing by discerning parents for innovations, great design and the highest standard in quality products. Our products meet or exceed all applicable standards for products safety in the market we sell to. In the past decade, our product categories have expanded from diaper bag to toys, activity gym, plastic and musical toys, food contact and feeding products. Based in New York, our products are available and sold to parents and kids in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, China, and so on, we have been well-known for making very innovative products, making parenting more fun and bringing innovative design to the little details.
    Now we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer -Infant/Baby Product for our fast and steady growing for our China office locating in Futian CBD, Shenzhen.

Responsibility:
1. Supports to our design and product development teams in Shenzhen and New York, bringing good products to life on-budget and on-time.
2. Advise the US design team on material selection and technical/engineering factors
3. Work closely with vendors to troubleshoot issues and speed development and production.
4. Update SolidWorks files as needed to streamline development and production.
5. Work closely with Product Production team and QA/QC to reduce product costs and improve quality.
6. Advise on vendor selection according to production ability and the technical ability of the factory.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 6 years’ Experience on plastic injection, softgoods & Hardware Knowledge, prefer experience in Infant/Baby toy industry.
3. Preferable PC Skills – Solidworks or ProEngineer as a mechanical design tool.
4. Good in English, able to communicate with US team, ODM & OEMs in daily email communication & conference call.
5. Familiar with electronic product will be a plus.
