Position Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work with Asia Pacific merchandising team, UK Project Manager team and QA team to achieve a robust validated process to realize company mission and purpose qualified.
2. Set up and maintain company protocol/standard system to make sure all purchased products can meet UK marketing requirements in safety and reliability; Update and amend company standard system based on EU marketing amendments of directive, criteria, regulatory, and/or any other standards.
3. Review products in pre-purchasing stage, pre-production stage, and pre-shipment stage to make sure the purchased samples/products can meet safety and reliability requirements in marketing.
4. Release product review report in different stage and follow up improvements requested in product review report to make sure all quality problems are solved well before shipment.
5. Release New Product Specification before 1st shipment inspection and raise to QC inspectors and supplier make sure all quality issues to be concerned in mass production and in shipment inspection.
6. Define reliability testing contents to supplier. Check and review supplier internal reliability test report to make sure all test requested are performed by factory correctly with PASS result.
7. Check and review product manual/instruction sheet, gift box, and/or other packaging material which provided by supplier to make sure the contents match product, and description and illustration are idiomatic English and have no Chinglish used.
8. Support QC Inspectors to do product inspection; Provide technical training in product area as well as in directive/regulatory scope to QC inspector team and supplier people related.
9. Perform supplier audit and management, release supplier audit report, suggest and review improvement plan to supplier to ensure supplier can do continuous improvement in product quality. Provide customer support on existing programs and new programs.
10. For any marketing return/complaint, Investigate the root reason, release and update Corrective Action Report, and follow up in the supplier to make sure all problems to be improved and solved in future shipments.

Position Requirements:

1. 4 year University degree in Engineering, scientific, electric/electronic, or in English discipline.
2. At least 5 years technological experience in the 3rd party test laboratory as Testing Engineer in LVD scope for consumer electronic products. Or
3. At least 10 years experience as quality/technical engineer or higher in a European or North American Consumer Electronics Retailer or Company
4. Strong ability and experience to develop, review, and test all kinds of electronic and electric products under EU/UK directive, regulatory, and criteria.
5. Strong ability to implement and push project to success.
6. Knowledge in quality management processes, methods, tools such as FMEA, 6-Sigma, SPC, Problem Solving, etc.
7. Good command of English (written/oral) and PC.
8. Ability to communicate to all levels internally and to business and engineering team of vendor partners with diverse cultural backgrounds.
9. Strategic thinking and ability to plan; organize and execute.
10. Result orientated, self-motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic and energetic.
11. Committed to continuous learning.
12. Ability to travel locally and internationally.
13. High level of integrity.
