WaterGuru (www.waterguru.com) develops a family of novel IOT products for the pool and
spa markets with a fast-moving multi-disciplinary team. We are a startup funded by a
multinational company (Lonza). We plan to introduce our first revolutionary product to the
market this year.
As our Project Manager, you will participate in all phases of the design and manufacturing of
our electro-mechanical product at our contract manufacturer, Providence Enterprises, located
in the Yang Keng Industrial Park, Shenzhen.
This supplier-facing role requires effective communication and management across several
disciplines: mechanical, electrical, quality assurance and more. You will be involved with the
design, test, NPI, QA and delivery to port in Shenzhen.
We are looking for a project manager with the following qualifications:
? Ten or more years of working on electro-mechanical box-builds with Contract
Manufacturer
? BS in Engineering from an accredited institution (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
degree mandatory. Master's Degree preferred
? Fluent in English and Mandarin
? Demonstrable track record at Managing project timelines ensuring that key milestones
are met successfully
? Proficient with Solidworks, technical drawings, product specifications, plastic tool
fundamentals.
? Effectively coordinates reviews of part and system design, tooling layouts and
manufacturing plans.
? Experience in ensuring the completion and correctness of mechanical
documentation.
? Experience in managing a QA team and other local consultants as needed
? Willing and able to travel to visit local and international suppliers as needed. Visa to
the USA is preferred. HK current access is a plus
? Has a car with driver license
