Job Description:


? Manages all aspects of ODM projects within and between cross functional teams. Build the realistic project schedule. Manage Supplier and monitor its project status/Progress and weekly report to management team.



Responsibilities:


? Ability to challenge designs from the basis of cost, manufacturing feasibility and quality

? Review engineering drawings and, once accepted, drive the project through all phases to successful manufacturing of products

? Reduction of project time

? Act as a front line liaison between HoMedics and it’s manufacturing partners

? Tracking of project progress vs. timeline

? Ability to generate a recovery plan if the project timeline is behind expectations

? Drive cost-reduction activities

? Work closely with cross-functional teams in multiple locations and coordinate with marketing, manufacturing and quality teams to shape product spec, cost, manufacturability, reliability and ensure the project is done on schedule and budget

? Direct and follow up with manufacturing partners in establishing, executing, and monitoring strategic and tactical aspects of product compliance and schedules




Position Requirements
 
? Four Years’ Bachelor’s degree or above, PM, marketing or technical discipline.
? Smart with Strong problem solving skill

? Minimum of 5 years project management experience in product design and project follow up to the manufacturing phase with a multinational company in China or Asia

? Skillful to manage large projects, including project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control.

? Previous experience in either manufacturing operations (OEM) or international subcontract manufacturing operations (EMS)

? Extensive current experience, and successful track record as Project Leader with multi site responsibility

? Strong experience with supplier evaluation, qualification and follow up

? Highly motivated individual who can work independently; detail oriented with excellent follow up skills.

? Fluency in Mandarin and English language skills a must (written and verbal)

? Interpersonal skills - exceptional listening, understanding, influencing and communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills - politically astute
