TITLE: Infrastructure Manager, Door Group
REPORTS TO: China IT Infrastructure Manager

ROLE SUMMARY:

To ensure the effective and efficient deployment and ongoing support of Information Technology (IT) related technologies and services in ASSA ABLOY Greater China Door Group. To add business value through the appropriate use of IT system, align critical IT infrastructure system, strategies, standards, policies and operating procedures within IT Share Service Center (IT SSC).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working in accordance with ASSA ABLOY’s IT strategies, standards, policies, and guidelines:

1. Work with IT SSC to assist network and infrastructure projects implementation in ASSA ABLOY Greater China Door Group, and manage the ongoing support of computing platforms, network systems, electronic messaging systems, voice & video communication systems, and related client support operations.
2. Responsible for coordinating closely with IT SSC to maintain critical IT infrastructure systems architecture, managing all infrastructure projects, and doing so in accordance with ASSA ABLOY’s IT strategies, standards, policies, and operating procedures.
3. Maintain effectively supporting computer operations, which include back-office servers, LAN/WAN systems, voice & video communications, desktop and laptop configuration and procurement, and e-mail systems
4. Work with IT SSC to implement ASSA ABLOY IT system standards to each client, and make sure all PCs and network environments meets IT global standards.
5. Work well with IT team members in accomplishing goals and objectives, and main projects.
6. Assist other IT team members to manage multiple IT infrastructure projects to completion within time and budget criteria. This will include oversight of projects from beginning to end, managing business client expectations through effective communication, and providing technical leadership and hands-on support during projects.
7. Team with business departments and locations to accomplish specific projects. Partner with people and teams to understand their business objectives and offer IT infrastructure solutions appropriate to meet these goals.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

1. Strong skills and experience in the following
a. Windows Server 2008/2012
b. Active Directory
c. Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016
d. WAN and networking technologies and products
e. Network security
2. The following additional skills are desirable
a. Other Microsoft server products
b. Citrix application
c. Cisco firewall, switch and router
3. B.S. Degree in Information Systems or similar educational background with certification plus 6 or more years of related work experience.
4. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical audience.
5. Proven people management skills with minimum 3 years experience.
6. Demonstrated Team Building skills.
7. Ability to work effectively within a geographically dispersed IT leadership structure.
