Position: Documentation Specialist

Key Accountabilities

* Patiently / politely answer phone enquiries & solve customers’ problem via fax / email / phone in a professional manner (5%)
 * Encourage ESI usage, confirm Bill of Lading through ESL & match compass booking within 24 hours (after vessel sailed) (5%)
* Input shipment information into the docs system for issuing full sets of bill of landing to shipper within the specified timeframe and standard (80%)
* Handle enquiries from destination (agents / offices / customers) to smooth the documentation process (10%)
   
Job Context

(A) Business Contacts
- Patiently / politely answer phone enquiries & solve customer’s problem via fax / e-mail / phone in a professional manner;
- Customers and destination agents.

(B) Decision Making
OWN DECISION:
- Set the priority for data input per any special agreement with shipper or at the request of customers;
- Share the job duties among team partners at the peak season.

(C) Others
 - Handle customer complaints.


Competencies (Knowledge, skills and attributes)

- Good communication skills and customer oriented;
- Good telephone manner;
- Willing to learn;
- Responsible and able to work independently under pressure;
- Good knowledge of MS office / excel application;
- Fluency in both oral and written English and Mandarin.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

- Degree Holder.
- CET 6 or above.
