职位描述：
The Role:
This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to the design and verification of MIPS CPU with industry leading methodologies and tools.
Work with other engineers who design the hardware and software of the MIPS product, solving design issues and improving the quality (speed/performance/area/power) of the final product.
Specific Tasks include:
1.Develop function blocks inside the MIPS cores including security functions, reliability, DSP, FPU and debug
2.Develop verification environments using UVM, System Verilog and MIPS assembly to ascertain functionality and improving functional coverage
3.Detailed analysis of frequency timing, power, area and performance of your design
4.Open discussion and detailed documentation
Opportunity:
As part of a team of experienced, accomplished professionals, you will be working with design, verification, and layout experts. You will experience, first hand, real life design problems and methodologies to creating effective solutions using MIPS technologies.
Required Skills:
1. Basic understanding of RISC CPU architecture and concepts; MIPS architecture preferred
2.Linux/Csh/Tcsh/Tk/Perl and/or other scripting language usage
3.Good programming and scripting skills, such as Verilog, System Verilog, assembler, Perl, Shell scripts, C, TCL, Windows Office, ...etc
4.Synopsys/Cadence/Mentor tool usage and waveform analysis
5.UVM based test environment
Desirable Skills:
6. Verbal and written English competency
