职位描述：
As Senior System Architect you will take a leading technical role in a quickly-growing team of electronic systems experts. You are the technical “Eagle-Eye” and you will define, architect and implement next generation, best-in-class automotive system solutions. You acquire both deep insights into imec in-house technology and external customer requirements in order to achieve the best possible solution in terms of innovation, performance and cost. You support the requirements analysis and coordinate with internal and external customers. This role requires multi-disciplinary skills spanning the areas of imaging and other sensing technologies, signal and image processing, designing for automotive quality standards, embedded HW/SW and semiconductor technologies.
? You will have impact with your new ideas and methods while defining system architecture, turning ideas into prototypes and interacting directly with our automotive partners.
? Work closely with the major car manufacturers, automotive module suppliers and fabless IC companies in China to understand future generation requirements, and then define and execute competitive system architectural solutions for selected technology areas.
? Support the definition of the imec offering specifically towards the Chinese automotive industry, including scoping, USP validation and technology assessments.
? Lead competitive analysis and provide strategic guidelines to the business unit management on product roadmaps and future product features.
? Translate the Strategic plan into an operational plan for the R&D team, while indicating resources needed to execute plans and you will steer where necessary.
? Act as the technical interface with potential clientss and help to make attractive value propositions for them.
? Development, implementation and documentation of system architectures for automotive devices. Organize the system integration, bring-up, testing and failure analysis.
? Help building up a capable R&D team.
Profile
? PhD degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics or equivalent through experience.
? Broad insights in algorithmic solutions for imaging such as ADAS, combined with deep expertise in modeling and simulation. Automotive system knowledge is a plus.
? Solid understanding of system architectures, partitioning, HW/SW trade-offs, algorithm development like convolutional networks, and digital control systems.
? Strong signal and image processing skills.
? Hands-on design experience including embedded system design and integration. Building block definition and specification.
? Experience in and knowledge of the automotive industry is a definite plus.
? Experience of transferring research results into production ready solutions.
? Ability to convey ideas (in presentations, discussions at individual and group level) and steer (technical) solution, interacting with all stakeholders (technical but also at management level).
? Experience of working in an international environment and closely with industry contacts and academia.
? Proven capability of interacting with external partners and prospects.
? Willing to travel regularly to discuss with partners and other imec teams especially to Belgium, Europe.
? Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English (written and spoken). 举报 分享
