职位描述：
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

? Photograph products and to be used for packaging and publishing
? Manage props and equipment to produce photography that is up to Company’s standards
? Create and edit photography to be used on packaging or publishing artwork as required.
? Ensure colors of photograph are proofed with real products to ensure color matching during press printing.
? Make assertive photography/design recommendations.
? Make regular contact with design community.
? Conduct research to identify new product ideas, designs, materials and photography techniques.
? Update and create new current photography specifications.
? Create mock-ups of props as required by product being shot.
? Work with product design and graphics team to ensure accurate photography requirements.
? Attend various internal meetings as required.
? Maintain external communication with agents, vendors, and designers.
? Create and edit publishing works for our catalogue and other publications
? Assist with the design and layout of our publication materials.
? Other job duties assigned as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

? Post secondary degree/diploma in Graphics Design.
? Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field and or in a creative and dynamic environment.
? Good command of oral and written English, communication and literacy is a must.
? Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
? Proficient skills in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
? Skilled in Capture One pro is a plus.
? Very strong understanding of photography and lighting skills.
? Flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment.

DECISION MAKING

? Must be able to understand Umbra’s requirement in quality, visual appearance, and style to guarantee designs meets the branding intent.
? Meeting catalogue, publishing and presentation deadlines.
? Interpersonal communications.
? The objectivity of design.

RESPONSIBILITY

? 3 month performance review.
? Success and reception of photography work.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in a comfortable office environment. There is a low level of risk for accidents involved in this position. Extended periods of computer use with constant use of telephones and other office equipment are common. This position requires constant communication with all departments and management team. Mental stress is relative to producing accurate work, meeting deadlines and responding to urgent requests.
