Advanced Specialist E/E Test ‘Driving Dynamics’

Tasks

System integration, test and validation of E/E Driving Dynamics (on subsystem, HIL, vehicle level)

Key Responsibility

- Integration and validation of Driving Dynamics E/E components by means of subsystem test stands (TSP), HIL test stands and intensive test vehicles (FIT) along the BMW integration planning (I-Stufenplan)

- Fully responsible for verification of system- and function network and for reporting results to the module M50.50 including planning and executing of pre-validation test in cooperation with the CoCs (development departments)

- Within the scope is the maintenance and development of test cases based on the Driving Dynamics modular test specification including implementation and automation at different platforms (TSP,HIL, vehicle)

- Within the validation phases developing of test plan in cooperation with compound test leader for Driving Dynamics, realizing of tests at different instances (TSP,HIL, FIT), analyzing of results, documenting of errors (QC), initializing of counter measures at CoCs and validating fixes including errors transferred from other test instances

- Fully responsible for issuing of the driving release Driving Dynamics at appropriate level based on component releases and test results from subsystem testing, HIL, vehicle

- Planning and realization of test events (summer testing, winter testing) including travel planning, vehicle planning, coordination with process partners and project

Qualification

- Degreed Engineer in Electrics/Electronics or Mechatronics or Automation technology or Informatics or similar technical education

- Leadership ability

- Steering and organization ability

- Cost and quality awareness

- German and English language knowledge

- Project management skills

- Ability to assert oneself

- Structured mode of operation

- One's own initiative and self-motivation

- Communication ability

- Expert and process knowledge in automotive Electrics/Electronics

- Test and validation of electrical systems, subsystems and components, integration of complex systems, experienced with test and measurement equipment, 4-6 years

- Experienced in test- and problem management, 4-6 years

- Very good knowledge of DSPACE-products, Matlab/Simulink, Vector-Product, ECU-Test, VBA, Phyton, 4-6 years

- Very good knowledge of CAN bus and flex ray technology, 4-6 years

- BWM internal driver’s license C1 of advantage, 1-3 years

- Experienced driver, founded knowledge of driving dynamics, 7-10 years

- Good network inside of BMW
