IMAX China PR specialist JD

The PR Specialist, China is responsible to shape and promote IMAX brand in greater China through strategic communications programs. You will be responsible for planning, maintaining and executing impactful media relations strategies that build awareness for our company, films and theater network. This role is based in Beijing and reports to IMAX China Corporate Communications Director.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Drive media coverage of IMAX brand and film promotions;

·         Enhance IMAX voices across media platforms

·         Build and maintain targeted media lists, and nurture relationships with key business, trade, vertical and broadcast reporters

·         Create fresh story/film publicity ideas around market and industry trends that highlight brand, products, differentiators, and campaigns

·         Schedule, organize, and execute media interviews and press events for business announcements, campaigns, media tours, speeches and other public speaking events

·         Write press releases and other PR copy for local distribution

·         Monitor and prepare market and competitor analysis

·         Collaborate with marketing team to provide communication support as appropriate on marketing campaigns, brand efforts, and channel/partner programs and announcements

·         Help coordinate on the corporate and film related events

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor Degree or above

·         At least two-year working experiences

·         Proven experience as public relations specialist or similar position. Prior in-house experience at tech/consumer goods or entertainment companies or from PR agency

·         Experience in managing agency, project management and execution of PR campaigns and/or initiatives

·         Ability to work on multiple-projects concurrently, in a fast paced environment

·         Experience in copywriting and editing, with samples of writing to show

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in spoken and written English

·         A creative yet practical mind, and ability to multitask
