Job Description – Maytex Global Mechanical/Industrial Engineer

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Equivalent.

Good English Language skills both oral and written. Minimum CET6.

Ability to travel both in China and abroad.

Experience: Minimum 5 years working in a manufacturing environment with keen interest in sustainable manufacturing practices

Location – Zhejiang or Guangdong

· Familiar with production workflow and manufacturing set ups

· Excellent problem solving abilities and process thinking skills

· Capable of determining manpower requirements

· Cost conscious and capable of running cost saving projects on production set ups

· Identify opportunities in the manufacturing and packing processes benchmarking those processes for cost savings opportunities and identifying options for cost savings

· Evaluate and identify opportunities to eliminate waste associated with worker’s activities and interaction with the manufacturing processes and equipment.

· Plan workforce use, space requirements, equipment layout to optimize workflows

· Prepare calculations, sketches, diagram and schematic drawings for factories

· Work with Product Development team/engineers to drive product development

· Review tooling specifications

· Provide technical support to factories for product development and manufacturing processes

· Capable of developing simple testing procedures

· Report progress of all assign tasks to management

· Develop and document training programs for factories

• Time study analysis of various manufacturing techniques

· Identify problems with existing product designs and troubleshoot

· Serve as liaison between factory’s engineering team and Product Development team

· Create accurate industrial drawings of products

· Capable of leading a Kaizen project for both Maytex/Zenith and customer

· Capable of leading a Six Sigma project for both Maytex/Zenith and customer

· Familiar with Fishbone and Pareto analysis presentations

· Root cause analysis skills and presentation

· CAD software proficiency

· Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

· Hardworking, energetic and quick learner
