Job responsibility:


1. Lead, plan and implement various engineering projects to ensure they are accomplished within defined schedule with allocated resources, within financial budget guidelines and meet the specification, this includes but not limited to:

1.1. Liase with supplier or /and customer on technical specification review and negotiation.

1.2. Determine the amount of staff needed and how many phases will be required to complete the project.

1.3. Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendation to strategic planning, preparation and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standard, resolving problems, complete audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, implementing change.

1.4. Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirement, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variance, initializing corrective action.

1.5. Drive and track various projects including documentation and follow-up, data collection of details for production and external customer.

1.6. Advise a favorable quality, delivery and cost result for a project.

1.7. Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunity to add value to the project accomplishment.

2. Review product design for compliance and safety, adherence to company standard, customer contract requirement, industrial standard and national standard.

3. If the engineering project is located at one or several sites, travel may be required to inspect and oversee each engineering project throughout the duration of the projects, This can involve short or long term trips depending on the size of the project. Each project may have an on-site supervisor the project engineer acts as a liaison between the organization's main office and the field employees.

4. Project engineer also handles some design responsibilities along with other staff assigned to the projects.


Job Requirement:


1. M. Eng. Or a good Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.

2. Must have a Mechanical or Electrical, or Automation, of Industrial Engineering background with computer skill ( MS project & MS office).

3. Must have the ability to read and interpret prints / specs, technical writings and organizational skills.

4. At least 10 years experience in supplier interaction and customer interaction.

5. At least 10 years project management experience including budget and team lead responsibilities.

6. 3 years experience with bill of material and routing, quotation preparation.

7. 3 years ISO 9001 or QS 9001 work environment a plus.

8. Experience in product line transfer and equipment set up and installation is a plus.

9. Frequently travel within China with short notice is necessary. May require to travel oversea.

10. Fluent in English is a must. Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese ( oral & written).

11. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

12. Ability to handle pressure.
