Areas of responsibility/Role
Identify needs and generate innovative ideas for aluminium tube
improvements, including alloy development, product development and new
solutions to the market
Initiate and execute R&D projects, from idea to prototype,
Run projects in cooperation with plants and in collaboration with
internal, external research organisations and/or customers
Support implementation of R&D results in plant(s)
Training and spreading of best practice in plant(s)
Establish and develop internal and external networks

Qualifications
MSc/PhD in mechanics, physics, material science or similar
Experience with project management and R&D work is desirable
Preferable background in tube making, aluminium or copper tubing -
metallurgy, metal processing knowledge, and manufacturing equipment
expertice is an asset.
Knowledge on tube applications and assembly processes, and their
material requirements, for Automotive and HVAC&R heat exchangers.
Innovative and creative
Good communication and social skills, and ability to handle different
cultures
Fluent in English, additional language skills would be an advantage
Team oriented with ability to work independently, in changing
environments
