Goal of Function:
· Analyze demand, visit and screen suppliers, evaluate logistics costs to create a basis for deciding on the optimum strategy for Global and Local sourcing of your commodity;
· Define and implement the procurement and supply strategy globally and align with cooperate business strategy;
· Drive the suppler qualification process together with specialist colleagues;
· Conduct price and contract negotiations together with your international colleagues;
· Follow up on supplier performance and make corrective actions, proactively manger risk;
· Drive design-to-localization initiatives together with the supplier and your international colleagues in order to substantially reduce the costs of the end product;
· Driving LLC souring/PVO/Saving/PPV performance

Requirements:
· Above 10 years of experience in the Materials/Purchasing/Sales function with at least 5 years of leadership experience;
· Good English communication skills;
· Good experience working with senior management, product management, development engineering, and finance;
· Be able to travel for business at least 25%
· Strong technical knowledge any of below commodities:
Sheet Metal/Stamping/Machining
Sensors and Scanners
Drives and Motors/Pneumatics and Actuators
Equipment Purchases (Belt Turns, Sorters, etc)
Rollers/Pulleys/Wheels/Power Transmission Components/Bearings
Belting
· Knowledge of inter-China transit, Inco terms, Local tax laws, etc

Educational Background:
· Bachelor degree
· Mechanical/Electronic Engineering relative
· MBA is a plus
