Job Description:
Performs research activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory, pilot scales or manufacturing environment. Records and reports data and properly maintains lab notebook. Follow instructions, performs experiments, collects and records data in accordance with MTI corporate standards and makes diagnostic observations. Able to develop needed lab and pilot scale procedures and methods and perform routine maintenance. Experienced in equipment and lab operations and is able to follow troubleshooting procedures.
Takes the lead role in the assembly, operation and disassembly of equipment. Recognizes, uses and is committed to safe lab practices at all times.

High School diploma; BS preferred; 5+ years of lab experience. Speaks, reads, writes and understands English.
Physical Requirements
_ Ability to travel, sometimes frequently and/or for extended periods by air and car.
_ Ability to perform physical and chemical experiments and tests in a lab, pilot plant, or plant setting
_ Ability to operate a computer
_ Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
