Essential Responsibilities:

1. Maintain appropriate levels of raw materials and components necessary to execute the Materials Requirement Plan, Production Schedules and Design Engineering builds when requested.

2. Plan and execute material releases to supplier through the Repetitive Purchasing System in an accurate and timely fashion.

3. Maintain specific commodity detail such as purchase lot size, lead time, minimum order quantities and any other information needed that would affect the data integrity of the part number and the Repetitive Purchasing System.

4. Expedite supplier to support the production schedule when required.

5. Notify Accounting with the appropriate documentation of any premium freight occurrences, inbound and outbound.

6. Coordinate material purchases with engineering changes to minimize exposure to obsolete inventory.

7. Advise warehouse supervision of any inbound expedited freight movements.

8. Initiate Material Deviation which may be required to execute the production schedule.

9. Manage and plan FG delivery for Customer, Oursourced supplier management, including Capacity, production plan and counting

10. Review inventory levels, obsolescence, returns, slow moving items and excesses with the Inventory Control and Warehouse Supervision.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related.

2. At least 3-5 years experiences of material planning, purchasing, experience of customer service is a plus

3. Working knowledge required includes manufacturing operations, purchasing procedures and policies, materials planning (MRP) and strong analytical skills. Experience in SAP is preferred.

4. Basic knowledge of costing is required.

5. Excellent communications skills required. Good interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills are also required.

6. Able to work independently.

Good English in both oral and written.

7. Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced matrixed environment

8. Strong analytical and presentation skills

9. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and balance workload to meet deadlines

10.Attention to detail, multi-tasking and strong follow through required
