SW Engineer designs, develops and implements vehicle functions. SW Engineer ensures that in-house developed software, documentation and verification are delivered on time with the correct content.
Main Tasks
The SW Engineer is responsible to support development of production SW that is implemented according to a set of guidelines, standards and design prerequisites. The SW Engineer is responsible to support the development of software components that fulfil the requirements from technical, time and cost perspective. The SW Engineer is responsible for delivering a production SW that is quality assured according to the process developed by the QM.
Responsibility
? Receive, review and analyse requirements for SWC
? Develop algorithms that fulfils functional requirements
? Design and develop SW according to SW processes defined by QM and ISO 26262
? Configuration management of the models
? Make sure that every delivery is reproducible
? SW Model Release note, Write what requirements are implemented / changed and other information about the model
? Responsible for unit test of the models including test procedures and test reports
? Responsible for documentation of the models in accordance to agreed process.
? Support for software developers inside and outside the team
? Reviewing models / documentation from suppliers
? Review and testing of robustness for SW models
? Base calibration and guidelines for calibration.
