职位描述
Position Title: Buyer
Reports To: Purchasing Supervisor
Department: SCM
Location: IDEX Suzhou
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Surcing indirect material with being based on other department demand timely. Negotiating with suppliers on purchasing price and commercial terms and get low cost, good service (OTD,quality etc).
? Good strategy management for indirect materials suppliers. Define main KPI for indirect suppliers. Responsible for supplier performance driving and regular assessment, and implement efficient action plan for continuous improvement.
? Issue PO in line with approved purchase requisition, and place to the qualified supplier accordingly after PO approval process.
? Efficient PO delivery control to meet company OTD, quality requirement, risks analysis and problem shoot, timely feedback to associated department for any deviation.
? Work closely with Engineering, HR, warehouse and other function for incoming goods control process, make claims for any non-conformity of quantity or OTD.
? Payment application for all POs without any delay, to ensure no earlier or later payment arisen.
? ERP system maintenance to make sure right data (purchasing data) set up into EPR and right transaction in ERP.
? SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB
? Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing process for indirect material including supplier qualification and management, new category sourcing of indirect materials.
? Good understanding of the technical and electromechanical indirect category.
? Good understanding of ERP system function, including an integrated MRP system.
? Experience with cycle count process and believes in effectiveness and importance of process.
? Good Possess organizational skills & ability to conduct many tasks simultaneously.
? Well experienced in communication and negotiation with suppliers.
Human Relations
? Candidate should possess strong organizational skills and ability to conduct many tasks simultaneously.
? Ability to operate Microsoft office efficiently
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Educational
? University degree in related field of study (Engineering, Business, Materials).
Professional
? At least 2 years experience in purchasing
? Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Strong communication skills are required.
? Must be able to operate a PC using Microsoft Office and ERP system as primary tools
