Position Title: Vice Team Leader
职位名称： 副组长
This is an hourly position, with regular OT eligibility as defined by Omni gear Policies.

This position is a part of the progression of new employees/apprentices in the company. This position is also an opportunity for experienced and qualified machine operators to obtain a leadership position in the company.

Description of Duties职责描述
While the vice team leader will be available to run production parts, additional responsibilities are expected of this position.

The essence of the position is to be the ‘right hand man’ and close associate of the team leader of the work cell. The Vice Team leader is to support the team leader in all matters needed to operate and improve the workcell. It is expected that minimum of 50% of your time is spent in the workcell, working closely with the team leaders and operators. Vice Team Leaders are charged with assisting in the following items. This list is including, but not limited to:

- Day-to-day production and shipping schedule attainment;

- Ensuring daily machine PM’s are completed;

- Maintaining a clean work cell;

- Ensuring in-process quality procedures are followed;

- Ensuring inventory control, accuracy, labor reporting and Macola-related
transactions occur at the cell level;

- Assisting with daily cycle counts.

Vice Team Leaders are directly responsible for the following, however, they are expected to work closely with the team leader in developing and defining the below:

Vice Team Leader have to report to team leader directly.

Requirements要求
Vice Team leaders will require the following skill set. Having more skills than others are preferred, however, this should not discourage you from applying. For prospective applicants, any necessary skills you do not currently possess, I expect you to attain within 90 days of assuming the role of team leader, with appropriate training provided.

- Employee in good standing (no verbal, written or other performance warnings in the last 12 months).
- 员工信誉良好（在过去12个月内没有口头，书面或其他绩效警告）。
- Minimum of two year technical degree related to machine tools and machining processes, four year degree preferred.
至少要有与机床和加工工艺相关的两年制技术学位，四年制更优。
- Prior experience (in an educational or industrial environment) in the description of duties is required.

Training培训
- Computer training in Macola/Exact will be provided for work order creation, inventory queries, production posting, scrap reporting, others as needed

- Training on viewing open PM’s in the maintenance database

- Training in machine setup (if you are unfamiliar on mill or lathe setup) will be arranged; goal will be to train you to set up each machine in your workcell
