Job Description:
1.Take approved visuals/concepts and produce prototype and manufacturing drawings.
2.Work with Creative Designers to faithfully realise the chosen design.
3.Work closely with Customer project Managers to ensure that we achieve within budgetary constraints.
4.Work closely with Purchasing Engineer to evaluate and if necessary redesign.
5.Liaise with Factories and/or Purchasing Engineer to verify construction, specifications and quality.
6.Develop solutions to any design/assembly/manufacturing problems.
7.Use chosen software packages to produce professional high-quality prototype and manufacturing drawings within the company guidelines.
8.Secure the delivery process, together with sales and support team by planning, supervise and follow up and if necessary involve responsible Managers in the process
9.Summarize, analyze and evaluate finished projects – documentation.
10.Be familiar and update with production and assembly techniques – purpose is to save construction cost with good design techniques.

Position Requirements:
1.Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign eg. (Adobe® Creative Suite® 5.5 Master Collection, Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium). 3D Studio Max, CAD Autodesk Inventor.Microsoft Office.
2.Technical university degree or Diploma.
3.Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English.
4.Minimum of 2 - 3 years relevant working experience with proven record of transforming design concepts into manufacturing drawings using above software.
5.Proven experience in engineering design within Retail and brands POS sectors.
6.Proficient at sketching quickly.
7.Thorough understanding of materials; potential applications, manufacturing methods, relative costs and environmental impact.
8.Working knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes.
9.Achievement motivated – ambitious, energetic and dedicated to achieve results.
10.Emotional stability – ability to operate within a highly dynamic, fast growing company in a competitive working environment, ability to handle pressure.
11.Good time management.
12.Effective communicator, able to present ideas with clarity and confidence.
13.Positive approach to lateral thinking, provide innovative solutions to design challenges.
14.Ability to take ownership and responsibility for designs.
15.Self-motivated – does not need constant supervision to stay productive.
16.Ability to work within team and independently as required. Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills to benefit the whole team, particularly during pressured periods.
17.Good attention to details.
18.Administrative skills –ability to establish systems and routines that ensure efficient work and high quality.
