-Be Responsible to investigate / manage any technical / integration issues to a resolution
-Be Responsible for the Programme Labcar – Build, Maintenance & Testing
-Manage the planning & preparation for Engineering EMC testing & results analysis
-Liaise with Project Teams to support Vehicle Builds & investigate issues on fleet vehicles
-Manage software delivery timing, ensure tested on vehicle / labcar and released for vehicle use in a controlled manner
-Support Electrical launch team as required
-Manage Car Configuration change request are managed and implemented robustly
-Liaise with Vcats team to ensure successful software download
-Be based in Shanghai and support activities at Changshu. Also occasional travel to UK
-Be educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline and be able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of vehicle communication networks, electrical system engineering and fault diagnosis
-Have a basic understanding of hardware and software design, and electrical integration concepts such as diagnostics and software download (SWDL)
-Have excellent negotiation and communications skills, have an ability to build relationships with suppliers, project management and liaise with employees at all levels
-Be self motivated and able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
-Essential experience includes design and integration of complex functions spanning multiple ECUs, the analysis and debugging of system related faults, CAN & LIN network design and validation, and the use of CAN & LIN development tools, software download and working in a manufacturing environment
-Degree in Engineering / Engineering related field (BEng / BSC)
-At least 3 year relevant electrical integration experience
-Good technical vehicle system knowledge inc. structured fault finding & problem resolution, CANalyser & other debugging tools
-Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
-Willing for limited travel within China and Internationally
-Good general computer skills inc. MS office suite
