Description:
As a Customer Design Engineer, You need to be the Rep of design team and be able to independently root cause and solve issues from both internal and external customers, including FAB/Manufacturing/Industrial Customer , provide the solution, or support the internal request . also identify the systematic approach to improve long term product health. You will touch every aspect of flash design and manufacturing so a broad base of cross-function knowledge is a must.
Responsibilities:
? Design Rep of specific product line and interface with internal counterpart, including marketing/Quality Engineer/ Product engineer/ Packaging and SI / FAB / Test Engineer/
? Task force lead or key player per product issue, own the problem solving , coordinate x-team efforts and drive for final root cause
? Provide containment, solution and risk assessment per specific issue and track progress.
? Owner /consultant of cross-function team request, including test mode development, design and application consultant, preliminary problem identification
? Support Test/Product/Quality engineer to develop test flow to screen or improve yield
? Well document all product issues for future reference.
? Communicate the status and schedule with both local and oversea teams.
? Identify the systematic approach to ensure continuous improvement of Product health and drive for implementation.

Requirement
? Broad base of cross-function knowledge, including but not limited to Package, Signal Integrity, circuit design, FAB Process, Automation tools and programming, Firmware, Lab skill.
? Have a comprehensive understanding of flash product architecture , design and firmware. Need to know the basic function of each building blocks and how circuit interface with firmware.
? Understand all flash product function / performance requirement base on datasheet.
? Understand the capability and limitation of various Flash test platforms.
? Make decision through circuit understanding and data analysis
? Strong technical leadership and able to work independently.
? Be able to travel occasionally, both domestic and international.

? Strong passion in understanding technical detail, not limited to circuit, but also tester architecture and signal integrity performance.
? Patient, cautious, and able to work under pressure and tight schedule.
? Team work. Maximize the team's output thru supporting / coaching/ mentoring/ sharing.
? Strong presentation/ communication skill
