职位描述
A. PRIMARY DUTIES:
· Setup local EE organization in Asia for the realization of concept and series development projects within the on-board power & signal distribution system.
· Setting up and leading of development teams according to the management policies of the company. Make decisions on personnel matters in cooperation with HR and superiors.
· Engineering representative of the DRX Group, direct contact for all development issues in the Asia-Pacific region.
Permanent care of relations to customers' departments, procurement of information concerning product requirements, process procedures, organizational structures and customers' projects.
· Ensuring information flow to all internal and external departments.
· Setting up budget and investment planning for EE teams in Asia in accordance with group targets.
· Direct and regular reporting to the superior on the current status of implementation, measures to be taken and budget status.
· Coordination of realization of development programs respecting the requirements from customers' specs, standards and international laws.
· Continuous improvement of cost/performance ratio by intelligent workload sharing between global engineering resources and use of a tool based digital work flow throughout development process.
· Permanent surveillance of products and processes concerning cost optimization.
Evaluation and realization of potentials found, securing customer releases.
· Work with sales responsibles to find & realize new business opportunities

· Management authority

· Master, engineer, BEng or technician, electrical or mechanical engineering
· 10-15 years experience in EDS engineering management
· Work experience with a supplier of Asia-Pacific region or directly at an Asian customer
· Excellent English in writing and speaking (business fluency)
· Leadership qualities
· Analytical thinking
· Teamability and organizational talent
· Easy handling of standard software
· Knowledge of development and quality procedures
· Professional and rhetoric abilities and skills in customer relations
· Basic commercial knowledge
