职位描述：
Position: Supplier Development (SD) and Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), US Company (Asia Pacific Headquarters)
  
Location: Shanghai (Songjiang)
  
Reporting Line: Solid line: Head of Asia Pacific Head, Dotted line: Global Purchasing Sarasota, Florida (US)
  
 Goal of the job:
  
 - Develop suppliers in Asia to USA, Korea and Europe Plants (Countries in the scope: China, India, Korea, Japan and SEA)
 - Improve and manage the supplier base in the region to achieve quality, delivery and cost targets and secure business
     
 Main Responsibilities:
  
 - Release process for new suppliers (Potential Analysis) incl. follow-up of improvements
 - Build up and development of new suppliers
 - Improvement of existing suppliers
 - Initiating, planning and conduction of audits at critical suppliers incl. follow-up of measures
 - Complaint management (trouble shooting) caused by suppliers within the defined escalation levels
 - Active cooperation with the Lead Buyer in headquarter
 - Evaluation of contract and negotiations
 - Training and support of new employees in regards of methods and processes
 - Active cooperation with cross-function and regions to build up knowledge and exchange expertise
 - Regular preparation of commodity specific KPIs to follow-up the global target, preparation of other KPIs on request
 - Take part in sourcing decisions
 - Monitoring and initiation of corrective actions relating to product quality and quality planning of suppliers
 - Coaching of suppliers to ensure that APQP and PPAP-requirements and documentation objectives are achieved
 - Assisting with the acceptance inspection of prototypes and PPAP sampling operations, incl. decision on use
 - Analyze and evaluate risks and related impacts to the business
 - Escalation of risks to related functions and management in timely manner
 - Evaluate finance risk of supplier

Requirements for the job:
  
 - Chinese native
 - Engineer with 5 years+ experience in similar position in Automotive market
 - Fluent in English (Korean and Japanese language is a plus)
 - Deep knowledge of production process technology (commodity, turning, grinding, HT, Assemble, plastic and casting)
 - Deep knowledge of problem solving methods (e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why, et.), SPC, Measurement System Analysis and FMEA
