Job Description
1. Participate in the development of specifications for production & non-production materials by providing supply-related information to departments or colleagues who lead in such processes, e.g. price, supplier, market availability;
2. Locate vendors in open market, and interview them in order to determine product availability according to technical specifications defined by the concerned responsible departments or requesting departments.
3. Coordinate necessary technical talks between suppliers and KNAUF departments/colleagues that are technically responsible to decide on the specifications.
4. Represent the company to conduct and lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to determine terms and conditions in the form of purchase contracts.
5. Receive and check purchase requisitions (PR) from requesting departments;
6. Place purchase orders (PO) to selected suppliers based upon established terms and conditions;
7. Follow up and coordinate deliveries to requested places in time;
8. Assist finance department to settle payments to suppliers based on the payment terms agreed;
9. Review and handle purchase order claims against suppliers and contracts for conformance to company policy;
10. Document properly related sourcing & procurement activities, e.g. to maintain records of goods ordered and received, and report to SCM Manager on regular basis;
11. Conduct regular evaluations of supplier performance in the aspect of quality, delivery, communication, etc.
12. Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability;

Job Requirements
1.College graduate, preferred to have majored in sciences of engineering/mechanics/electrics
Computer literate
2.Above 2 years related purchasing experience
3.Working experience in related industries is expected
