岗位职责:

Summary:
? Develops design strategies or research projects, which are non-routine within areas of expertise to address specific technical requirements of a project.
? Studies, designs and recommendations reflect impact by and to related disciplines.
? Displays a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside the primary area of expertise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to technical feasibility analysis of complex research and design concepts.
2. Evaluate results relative to product requirements, definitions and/or program goals.
3. Independently plan and execute a series of design and/or technical tasks that may not be well-defined, have multiple variables, and require advanced techniques within negotiated deadlines.
4. Play a lead role in the evaluation, selection and adaptation of various techniques, which accomplish business objectives such as quality and cycle-time.
5. May provide training and supervision to junior members within the discipline. Routinely provide advice and assistance to team members regarding unique problems.
6. Devise new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles. Incorporate new methods and technologies for improving existing or new products/processes.
7. Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements related to R&D (product development, process validation, design and safety) to ensure compliance in all research, data collection and reporting activities.
8. Maintain technical knowledge on manufacturing processes for various product families, technical platforms and plants. Manage technical scale-up activities and transfers to plants.
9. Develop budgets and activity schedules of limited scope.
10. Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of GMP and related regulations and guidance.
11. Maintain focus on meeting both external and internal customer expectations.

任职资格:

Qualifications,Education and/or Experience:
1. Possess relevant laboratory/technical, writing, and computer skills.
2. Ability to organize and communicate complex information that engages the audience.
3. Utilize a logical, methodical approach in independently solving problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations.
4. Ability to make decisions when provided with limited information.
5. Contribute to efforts beyond own scope of responsibilities to ensure project milestones are met.
6. Ability to articulate customer needs and incorporate into work product.
7. Ability to effectively mentor junior level associates.
8. Ability to make routine decisions independently.
9. Ability to design experiments and draw meaningful conclusions from lab data.
10. Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years’ experience or 3-5 years’ experience with Masters and 0-3 years’ experience with PhD. The degree should be in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
