Qualifications:

1. Advanced skills in communication,
2. Semiconductor background with a general understanding of Fab, Assembly, and Test manufacturing flows.
3. Must be experienced in hands on usage of major ERP systems for order management, purchasing and production control
4. Ability to work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.
5. Fabless Semiconductor Planning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. This position will be located at Nexsilicon’s planning team in Shanghai. This team will be responsible for the complete
2. Semiconductor supply chain including order management, planning/procurement of wafer fab, assembly service, test and back-end services, and product shipment and delivery.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the scheduling of products and subcon management.
2. The primary activities will include:
3. Booking customer PO’s and schedule the production to fulfill shipments; release fab lots and track work in progress(WIP)
4. Work on the supplier forecast process, ensure critical materials such as substrates, trays etc. are available for forecasted builds.
5. Monitor subcon commitments for wafer fab, assembly and test schedules and follow up in case of schedule slip.
6. Travel to visit subcons for face to face visit as necessary.
7. Hold weekly (or more frequent) telecon with subcons to track schedules.
8. Ensure non-automated WIP receipts and movements are completed on a timely basis.
9. Ensure invoicing for non-automated product shipments are executed on a timely basis.
10. Candidate must have demonstrated ability to perform supply/demand balancing using Microsoft Excel based tools.
11. Excellent communication skills required for multinational sites.

Skill Requirements:

1. Semiconductor background with a working knowledge of Fab, Assembly, and Test manufacturing.
2. Build to order manufacturing environment. Ability to react to engineering change orders and requirements.
3. The candidate must possess a strong numerical orientation and exceptionally organized and detail oriented.
4. Ability to work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
6. Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and one or more ERP systems.
7. Knowledge of MRP, PC and database programs.
8. Demonstrated problem solving skills.
9. Commitment to customer service.
10. Interactive, effective team player.

Minimum Education Requirements: College degree above

Desired Experience:

1. 3+ experience in planning or production control at a semiconductor company.
2. Experience working for a fabless semiconductor company.
3. Experience working with Asian Wafer fab, packaging and test is highly desired.
