Occupational Summary:
Business System Manager will play a key role in shaping the ecosystem of Duke Kunshan University business applications that managed or run by University Operations. This includes various industry leading software or platforms that already being deployed or planned, for purposes such as process/project tracking, campus services management and cross-service line collaboration, university one card solution, campus asset management, intelligent lighting system, security accessing system, ERP system (including accounting and procurement modules), and many more.

The right candidate should be an experienced, entrepreneurial, and motivated professional who is passionate about learning new things, testing and implementing great idea and applications that are right for the University; and willing to work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, end-users, external services vendors/consultant to build something extraordinary for the University.

Director of Operations

Essential Duties:
？ Monitoring the latest development from the industry regarding business systems that related to the roles and responsibilities of University Operations.
？ Manage the overall new application launch project and be the focal point between Duke Kunshan University internal stakeholders and external service provider/consultant.
？ Lead on testing the functionalities and reliabilities for possible business application platform or solutions.
？ Act as subject matter expert when dealing with technical issues for all business applications under his/her management. Lead on finding right solutions to address the issue.
？ Manage daily operations of applications within the eco-system. Ensure its optimal operability and reliability, also responsible for proper system wide security policy setting and enforcing.
？ Train, review, and help internal users on how to best utilize business applications in their daily workflow, ensure maximum efficiency and ROI (return on investment) for applications that being deployed.
？ Advise the latest trend or technology for University management when seeking new solutions for improving services efficiencies or effectiveness.
？ Other duty assigned

Qualification:
？ The candidate should possess an undergraduate degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or a related discipline (Master degree preferred but not a must). He or she should have at least five years of experience in a multinational company or organizations with exposures to different applications and/or service lines.
？ The candidate should have in-depth understanding regarding SaaS, Windows/Mac OS/Unix/Linux, network protocols, Cloud service, Virtual Machines, HTML, 3rd party API integration and SSO.
？ Experience working on a SAAS product and/or other paid service site will be a plus.
？ You don't need to know all the areas listed above, as long as you are eager to learn and with a heart of curiosity on new things.
？ English proficiency in reading and writing technical documents/communication is essential.
