Assistant Manager of Supply Chain Management & System

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be part of the GPC GS team:
· Be responsible for planning and executing various IT solutions to support Global Sourcing operations
· Support the Supply Chain Manager on order management / delivery / logistics operations
· Manage projects to ensure on time & within budget and manage the work in progress
· Perform problem determination, develop performance metrics, monitor service levels and follow up with internal and external service providers
· Act as process / systems liaison and COE (center of excellence) to support full supply chain integrations
· Continuously looking for improvement opportunities to streamline processes

Profiles:

· Degree holder with 6 years of experience managing IT projects ranging from US$10k to US$1M, or relevant experiences, preferable in multi-national companies
· Familiar with project management practices and corresponding tools, and demonstrate a strong track record of project management experiences in China and Hong Kong
· Knowledge on SCM fundamentals, order management / HR systems and business process re-engineering methodologies e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, etc. would be a definite advantage
· Possess PMI, PMP or equivalent certification
· Possess an intellectual curiosity with strong drive for professional advancement
· Good team player with excellent communication, leadership skills plus a positive and proactive attitude
· Fluent in English and Mandarin, and additional languages are a plus
