We are looking for a candidate specialized in IT management, preferably with a background in the Logistics industry.
Our company is involved in fourth party logistics projects for which we work with numerous stakeholders and IT systems that need to be integrated and maintained. The IT manager needs to be able to manage the interests of our company while working with several stakeholders to reach the best result for our clients.
Besides that, we are implementing projects on our Warehouse Management System with a full scanning set-up (paperless) for which we need IT support on the software configuration and hardware set-up.
Skills:
- Perfect English (written and spoken)
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- The ability to understand complex information and work out requirements
- Methodical and structured approach to projects
- Able to analyze data and information
- Knowledge on hardware and IT infrastructure/network set-up
- Problem Solving

Responsibilities:
- To oversee the development and implementation of the 4th party logistics software
- To oversee the implementation of Warehouse Management System projects at our warehouse locations
- Overall IT requirements of our company (including email, storage, back-up procedures etc)
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Planning project stages and assessing the business implications for each step
- Monitoring the progress and making sure the costs and quality meet the agreed target
- Adjusting plans to cater to unforeseen circumstances
- Responsible for the communication between our company and other stakeholders
- Keeping senior management and the client up to date with the progress
- Signing off and evaluating completed tasks
