Position Title: Sourcing analyst

GEP leading strategic sourcing and procurement solutions management consulting firm with corporate headquarters in Clark, NJ. We offer consulting and technology services that help reduce the costs and significantly improve profit margins of our clients, who include Fortune 500 companies in the US, Latin America and Europe. GEP is currently searching for a Sourcing Analyst who can execute transaction part of buying with the guidance/request from relevant buyers and need to work closely with buyer/supply chain/finance/Sites to support operation. The candidate will have good communication skills and a positive attitude to manage client expectations.

Key Responsibility:

- Transactional support to the APSC Buying Team in DSAP/SRM: Contract/service order, Outline Agreement and Spot Purchase Order setup.
- Execute the low value buy under threshold of the regional service center
- Ensure compliance regarding the BRRP (Buy, Release, Receive, Pay) process
- Agreement, PO confirmation and filing
- Supplier interaction and follow up
- Payment term verification and other Exceptional Notice resolution coordination
- Vendor master set up and review coordination
- Work on various spend / metric database, extract data reports and perform basic analysis
- Identifies and drives continuous improvement in the buy and in the contractual relationship with suppliers.
- Work collaboratively with other sourcing colleagues and other internal clients to develop and share best practices and procurement process improvements.

Qualification / Knowledge / Skill Sets :

- Bachelor degree is expected, 1-3 years relevant experience in Purchasing or Transactional support
- Written and Spoken proficiency in Mandarin & Japanese is a must (Japanese language capability: N1)
- Sourcing, supply chain or service center experience or knowledge is needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft excel
- Knowledge and experience with SAP is a plus
- Knowledge and experience with operating materials and services (OM&S) is a plus
- Solid interpersonal/facilitation skills
- Team player
- Sense of efficiency, urgency and priority
- Analytical and negotiation skills and ability to influence supplier on mindset change is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a cross functional and cross business environment.
- Exhibits high business ethics and principle based behavior
- Ability to communicate across all levels, energetic, enthusiastic, with the full understanding of Japanese culture 举报 分享
