InterChina is a boutique management consultancy specialized in strategy and M&A advisory services in China. Since being founded in 1994, InterChina has grown to 60 professionals, and emerged as one of the leading consultancies in China. InterChina has two operations offices, located in Beijing and Shanghai, supported by a liaison office in Europe.


Info Center Intern Position


InterChina’s Info Center is a team of information specialists that support InterChina’s business development and consulting activities. The Info Center is expanding in size and now has a position open for an Intern based in Beijing.


The Intern will mainly have responsibility for the following activities:

Search for industry/company intelligence and data from secondary sources.

Processing and packaging of findings for the use by the Info Center Team, Business Development Team, Project Teams and Sector Groups.


The Intern will also support the routine activities of the Info Center:

Management, sharing and updating of information.

Development of information contacts and resources.


Working time:

2-3 full 8-hour working days per week.

Minimum commitment of a period of 3-6 months.


Working Relationships

The Intern will report to the Info Center Head based in Beijing.

And will work closely with the Info Center team members, Project Teams and the Business Development Team.


Position Requirements

Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:

Masters or Bachelor Degree.

Strong search skills in industry/company intelligence.

Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.

Multilingual (fluent Mandarin and fluent English).



Candidates with the following qualifications and experiences are preferred:

Technical skills in industry analysis (combining quantitative and qualitative input).

Education background, knowledge, or experiences in some or all of InterChina’s key sectors: healthcare, consumer goods & retail, machinery, automotive and chemicals.


Candidates should have the following personal qualities:

Business sense, common sense.

Cultural sensitivity, open minded.

Ambitious, hardworking, persistent.

Looking for a challenging environment, motivated to improve.

Organized, thorough, analytical.

Communicative, team player.

Presentable, punctual.



Position Benefits

Remuneration:

Salary: RMB 148/working day (after tax)
