Our clients include multinational groups, national and international medium-sized companies, non-profit organizations and private clients.
WTS China provides finance and tax services mainly to FIEs and Chinese companies in China, with presence in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Position Title: Senior Consultant (Tax/Finance) 高级顾问（税务/财务）

Location: Shanghai / Beijing

Job description and responsibilities

1.Assist clients in fulfilling compliance obligations in accordance with taxation laws and regulations, including:

1)Interview clients’ personnel to identify functions and risks relevant to the engagement objectives;

2)Prepare individual and corporate tax computations and returns, and handle correspondence with the respective tax authorities (State Administration of Taxation and Local Taxation Bureau);

3)Provide advice on tax efficiency planning, international mobility, reward and employment related matters, e.g. visa and work permit;

4)Providing advice on annual statements of accounts (Chinese GAAP, IFRS) including deferred taxes;

5)Providing advice regarding legal arrangements and tax oriented contractual design;

6)Analyze the economics of clients’ related party transactions and help clients understand transfer pricing issues and the taxation effects of various business and accounting practices;

7)Participate in tax audits and provide legal remedies against tax assessments;

8)Maintain client relationship through daily communication with clients and responding to clients’ requests and complaints in a timely and effective manner.

2.Participate in research on tax and related business issues, and assist in the compilation of internal documentation and guidelines; conduct tax related practices, laws and other case study research, and develop fundamental work competency and capability documentation or database.

3.Work in a team to devise solutions to complex tax issues faced by multinational corporations;

4.Attend meetings as requested by tax authorities and prepare relevant records and documents to ensure newly issued regulations / directions are fully understood and complied with.

5.Depending on the lines of specialization, roles and responsibilities may vary according to industrial traits and client requests.
The above is an encompassing description of the general role and each professional shall undertake other specific duties and tasks as required by line of specialization.

Requirements:

1.Around 4-5 year of PRC accounting experience is preferred from an accounting firm

2.Fluency in English and Mandarin

3.Experience in team management, interpersonal skills and report drafting skills

4.Good communication skills with business sense with sufficient exposure in FDD

5.Able to work under pressure and meet client deadlines with reasonable over-time

6.Proficiency in MS office, Excel

7.China CPA qualification is required
