Job Description: Mechanical Process Engineer is responsible to manage and ensure outsourcing factory manufacturing process capability in place to build Intel Education netbooks/tablets and meet CQAT (Cost, Quality, and Availability & Technology) requirement. In this position, the candidate will be required to work closely with Intel Education organization to understand manufacturing technical challenges, accountable for ODM manufacture engineering execution, collaborate with outsourcing factory to drive quality Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) and support operational compliance. Also the candidate will be required to do mechanical related tests to verify product quality and provide analysis & solution to improve product quality.

Job function includes but not limited to:
- New outsourcing factory system assembly capability site assessment and gap closure
- Providing product manufacturing training to the factory
- Collaborate with ODM to build robust factory quality defense systems.
- Conduct regular ODM audits to ensure factory manufacturing compliance to Intel requirements
- Drive factory to contribute on engineering value add activities, e.g. FMEA, DFx etc.
- Traveling to manufacturing sites located in varying cities
- Finish mechanical related tests of netbook & tablet, provide test result, result analysis and solution of test failure.

Qualifications

Qualification:
Candidate must have a Mechanical BS with +3yrs knowledge/experience on laptops/tablet systems assembly and mechanical test process.

Preferred Skills:
-Strong partnering and teamwork skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven problem solving skill
-Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results
- Working knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, throughput analysis, quality control systems
- Able to read and write in English
- Ability to travel

Others:
Candidate has working experience in Tier1 ODM factory on laptop/tablet PE (Product Engineer) or QE (Quality Engineer) role will be a plus 举报 分享
