JOB SUMMARY:
The Merchandise Executive is responsible for tasks and processes to facilitate the operations of the merchant-Beauty team, including establishing new vendors and tracking shipment and customs information related to vendor shipments. Supports the Merchant team in other daily functions, including vendor banking information entry, logistics contacts, invoicing guidelines, payment entry forms, and other general administrative tasks.
The Merchandise Executive is also responsible for performing sales analysis, web merchandising and certain vendor communication tasks.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivery & Reception
- Confirm the delivery date with brand against the launch schedule, and prepare pre-payment if necessary
- Ensure MP/PO/XML is ready before batch arrival
- Compare actual receiving qty against vendor packing list, report the discrepancy and damage detail to brand
- Check warehouse daily schedule and double confirm with brand of the delivery schedule to make sure stock arrive in time.

Sampling
- Check warehouse daily sample list to make sure samples arrive in studio in time and without discrepancy
- Work closely with production team to make sure all web information are correct

Production
- Request key visual and brand information from brand and prepare special layout brief assigned by manager
- Request product pictures from brand if necessary
- Submit Gift-with-purchase application form on request

Testlink
- Re-merchandising, color grouping &link sell
- Check test links before event launch and make sure all the price & description are correct

Settlement and Sales Support
- Arrange return after event end and settle payment with brand within 1 month after event end
- Prepare sales records and settle payment with the brand partners.
- Close Purchase Order in our SAP system (with VAT invoice) and follow up these brands which need to refund.
- Share sales reports to brand partners.
- Support call center team on customer complaint and inquiries

Others
- Daily Sales Report
- Check for accuracy of all detailed contract terms, and check all required authorization letter documents.
- Update and monitor purchased inventory stock levels regularly.
- Data Extraction from GLADA, SAP, Magento, Pentaho for required reports. Adjust data as necessary.
- Manage replenishment needs, and submit replenishment requests to vendors.
- Manage Special Layouts.
- Vendor information maintenance, collect new vendor information and enter into system.


QUALIFICATIONS:

-Native Chinese speaker, but with excellent written and verbal English language abilities.
-Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to quickly learn Glamour Sales systems such as SAP and Magento.
-Task oriented and highly organized. Able to work independently to meet deadlines.
-Adaptable to change and uncertainty with the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
-Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
-Over 3 years working experience in Beauty merchandising and buying will be more preferred. 举报 分享
