Broad Function and Objective (not limited to):

Provides information technology solutions for corporate office personnel, including software and hardware support and troubleshooting as well as facilitating new feature requests. Performs information systems administrative procedures, maintains documentation that covers all functional areas including data control, applications familiarity, data coordination and scheduling, and data security administration coordination. Adheres to standards and policies set by Dealer Tire. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, best practices, and procedures within the information technology field. Supports corporate employees, third party warehouse employees, and OEM dealerships (upon escalation from the call center).


Areas of Expertise:

Business Analysis / Project Management / Quality Testing
? Represents Chinese cultural expectations to the customer facing websites
? Help process small enhancements quickly by gathering and documenting requirements and testing when complete, following the Dealer Tire SDLC (System Development Lifecycle) guidelines
? Responsible for functional business analysis, requirements definition, and validation for projects
? Functions in the Project Manager role on assigned projects to establish timelines, execute activities, and drive project deadlines
? Applies sound change management practices to control scope of Information Solutions projects
? Expected to meet quality, schedule and cost commitments, under pressure, with little supervision

Customer Support / Incident Management
? Respond’s to incidents through the support ticketing system. Updates tickets and customers regularly until resolved. Closes ticket upon completion.
? Provides PC/desktop support and troubleshooting, including software and hardware replacement
? Understands and supports warehouse systems
? Communicates any website issues and tracks through resolution
? Responds to incident and/or customer support requests within established Dealer Tire guidelines; processing support escalations
? investigates process and system improvements to reduce/eliminate root causes of incidents; Analyzing support data and authoring support/knowledge documentation with the goal to reduce future escalations

Position Requirements:
? Bilingual English and Mandarin
? 3+ years’ experience in hands-on support of PC applications / help desk support and 2+ years as an appropriate IT analyst, IT project management or functional role
? Able to understand, represent and/or analyze the website user experience needs of the Chinese web user, specifically in the automotive industry
? Breadth and depth of business functions , including the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay
? Ability to think critically and suggest solutions / solution options
? PC troubleshooting skills necessary to support a fast-paced user environment.
o One of CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred
? Good understanding and ability to support Vendor Software, such as Microsoft Office, Antivirus, etc. as well as PC security best practices for a multinational company
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? Customer service orientated
? Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
? Facilitation and Negotiation skills
? Bachelor’s degree required in appropriate business area or equivalent work experience
? Basic understanding of Operating Systems Support: Windows Operating Systems, Macintosh
? Basic understanding of Network Topologies Supported: Ethernet, Frame Relay, ADSL, Active Directory
