Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, implement and test software features/functionality.
• Document software designs through use of functional specifications and other design documents.
• Research, investigate and define new areas of technology to enhance existing products or new product direction.
• Communicate and coordinate with fellow team members.
• Maintain technical design methodologies, processes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS, CE or EE required, Master degree preferred
• 3+ years of software development experience in Unix-like (Linux/Unix/BSD) environment for networking products.
• Senior level C programming skills, with strong mastery of data structures, run-time complexities.
• Experience in VM and ESX virtualization interface is a plus.
• Background in Ethernet, TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with multicore and distributed systems, QoS of TCP-based application delivery would be a plus.
• Experience with scripting languages would be a plus, such as Bash/Shell, Python, TCL, etc.
• Proven ability to deliver products with highest quality and on time.
• Knowledge and expertise in software engineering methodologies and effective unit testing.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Strong team player, and ability to work with both local and remote teams.
